General Instructions


  1. The presentations should adhere to the theme of the convention - Back to basics.
  2. The authors and co-authors have to be IPS Members and should be a registered delegate for convention.
  3. One delegate is allowed to present a maximum of one scientific activity - Paper / Poster/ Table Clinic. Kindly upload your abstracts through the portal by Login with register mobile number. A scanned approval letter (JPEG or PDF) from HOD is mandatory along with submissions.
  4. Submission carries with an obligation to present the accepted scientific content in person without any change in scientific content during the allotted time in the convention.
  5. All the presenters (authors and co-authors – student delegates) should be present at the time of presentation failing which they may not be allowed to present. All the authors (student delegates) will get the certificate of presentation.
  6. The accepted abstracts will be published in the convention souvenir.
  7. The delegates from colleges having more than 6 MDS seats / batch are informed to send their requests for additional entries with details to
  8. The attendance for the entire convention shall be biometrically recorded and minimum 80% is required to receive the participation and presentation certificate. The presence in inauguration and valedictory is mandatory failing which certificates may not be provided. Kindly make your travel arrangements accordingly. Excuses may not be entertained.
  9. All communications, uploads are by electronic submission (emails) only.
  10. Last date for submission of the abstracts for all modes of presentations is 7th June 2018.
  11. The list of accepted scientific abstracts shall be upload in the website by 21st June 2018. The delegates should carry the soft copy of the presentations in a pen drive. Upload the presentations in the respective halls at the venue, well in advance to the scheduled timings.
  12. All scientific abstracts to be reviewed by a double blinded reviewer panel chosen by the scientific committee. The session prizes and the best IPS awards shall be awarded to the students.
  13. The decision of scientific committee is final and binding in all situations.
